Our Team
Our team at Elite Dental share decades of professional experience in all areas of dentistry. We take a multi-disciplinary approach to dentistry and are supported by a hard-working administration team. Our caring, gentle and reassuring approach to dentistry calms people’s nerves and has made us the preferred family dentist in Ryde and surrounding suburbs over the past two decades.
Dr Lee Wareham graduated from the University of Sydney with honours in 1991. She has worked in the field of general dentistry since then. Dr Wareham is a member of the Australian Dental Association and is the Principal Dentist at Elite Dental.
On a regular basis, Dr Wareham visits the brain injury and spinal injury units at the Ryde Royal Rehab Hospital as a Visiting Dental Officer. She assists with diagnosing and treating at-risk patients in these wards.
Dr Wareham has a professional interest in endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and preventative dentistry. She believes that the best dental care is achieved when patients are empowered with knowledge, so that they can maintain their oral hygiene. She enjoys conveying her knowledge of dental health to her patients and ensuring that they require minimal intervention.
In her spare time, Dr Wareham enjoys classical music, gardening and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family.
Dr Sumathi Mani is a dental graduate of the University of Sydney and has been in private practice for over 26 years. She has worked at Elite Dental initially as an Principal Dentist and now as an associate, since 1995. She achieved Membership to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in General Dental Practice (MRACDS-GDP) in 2012. Dr Mani has postgraduate training and experience in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment) and orthodontics (braces).
She is currently working as a Clinical Educator with the University of Sydney, supervising and teaching dental students in the public health patient clinics.
Dr Mani is also a Peer Advisor with the Australian Dental Association where she supports and advises dentists and dental specialists from NSW and ACT on a range of matters which include clinical advice, resolution of patient complaints, civil/litigated matters and regulatory obligations surrounding government health schemes and private health insurers.
She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW Branch), Internationational Team in Implantology and the Hills Dental Study Group.
Dr Mani was a Visiting Dental Officer to the Royal Rehab Sydney where she used to see patients with severe physical /mental disabilities and limited mobility, who are primarily in the Brain Injury,Spinal Injury ,Weemala, Coorabel and Dixson Units from 2006 to 2016.
Dr Sumathi Mani participates in the local community, public schools and day-care centers promoting oral health. She was involved with the Local Scout Group where she lives and was a Joey Scout Leader for 3 years.
Her hobbies include reading, making cakes and jewellery, community fund raising and enjoying every free moment with her family.
Dr Sumathi Mani believes that the practice provides a warm, friendly, innovative and professional environment to all her patients.
Dr Coulter graduated from the University of Sydney with honours.
She has also completed a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS).
Dr Coulter has worked at Elite dental since 1999 and has provided complete care in all areas of dentistry.
Dr Coulter is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Royal Australasian College of Dental surgeons and up to recently The Australian Endodontic Society.
She attends many continuing education courses and is interested in expanding her knowledge. The latest course completed at the Australian Dental Association continuing education program – ITI Foundation level Implant modular course.
Dr Coulter has a keen interest in Periodontics, Oral hygiene care, Children’s Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry. She believes in comprehensive total dental care and continuity of care with all information and options given to patients.
Dr Coulter believes in a friendly warm environment for her patients. In her spare time she enjoys her family including a recent new addition, walking and the outdoors, her pets, reading and her local community church.
